Creating a creative seder experience can be stress free with just a few simple steps!

In my home the kids are very involved in prepping the seder table. It gets them excited weeks in advance and keeps them engaged the entire night. Here are just a few of our favorites.

Background

Hanging up a backdrop or props around the room is a great way to take your seder experience to the next level. No need to go crazy. Just one or two of the following ideas will give your guests something to talk about for years to come!

Add red string or tape to the doorways in your home.

Splitting the sea – perfect for doorways or you can cut and decorate the table like the yom suf.

Backdrop – many sizes and styles to choose from!

Consider ditching the flowers and picture perfectly orchestrated arrangements. Simple props on the table will help keep children (and adults) engaged and enjoying the entire night!

Want to recreate this Yam Suf scene in your own home? The great part about this idea is that it can be done with props you already have at home!

Shtick

Every good seder table has a little bit of shtick. What are your family favorites? Let us know in the comments below!

Clean up

The seder is long, cleaning up doesn’t have to be! I just placed my order at Smarty had a party!

I was shocked by how reasonable the prices are! If you have an eye for design you will love looking though their wide selection of styles and colors. You can mix and match to create a one of a kind seder table.

I personally didn’t have the time to match plates to napkins right now, so went with the “whats in the box” option. One click and full table set came right to my door! (Okay a few clicks, because they had so many choices!) Each set is more beautiful then the next. Go check them out if you want to spend more time with the family and less time cleaning up.

Decided to try any of these ideas?
