If there’s one thing we all agree on, it’s that 2020 is most definitely a year to remember. It’s handed us its fair share of twists and turns, even now as we prepare for (or have just started!) the school year. This school year will certainly look different than any we can recall, with a list of regulations longer than a CVS receipt. Masks for all students, social distanced hallways, and boxed lunches are all standard for those lucky enough to be returning to a classroom setting. We asked Bruchy Moskovics, a school social worker and child life specialist, to weigh in on the topic, and give some guidance.
